Background Dr. Ese Queen Umudi, is a Senior Lecturer of the Chemical Sciences Department, University of Delta, Agbor Delta State. She is happily married with children. She is a native of Okwagbe in Ughelli South Local Government Area of Delta State. She joined the services of College of Education Agbor in 2002 as Lecturer III in the department of Chemistry before the upgrade of the College of Education Agbor in 2021 to University of Delta, Agbor where she was re-adjusted to the rank of a Senior Lecturer. She holds a B.Sc (Ed) degree in Chemistry from Delta State University, Abraka in 1995, M.Sc Ind. Chemistry and a Ph.D degree from University of Benin in 1998 and 2013 recpectively. She also holds a Dip in Computer Science from College of Education, Agbor in 2004. He is a member of the Teachers’ Registration council of Nigeria (TRCN), Chemical society of Nigeria (CSN) Institute of Charted Chemist of Nigeria (ICCON0) and institute of Policy Management Development (FIPMD) Presently she is assistant coordinator at the Institute of Education (NCE Sciences). Her area of specialization is Environmental Chemistry. geared towards analysis and remediation of water and sediments, polluted matrices monitoring using techniques as clays, analysis of polluted aqua systems and treatments using different adsorbents in Marine and rivers and risk assessment/bioremediation. Skills: Environmental Chemistry, waste management, water treatment, writing of scientific project-management using low cost, readily available and low energy consuming materials.
