Background Dr. (Mrs.) Onyenye Peace Temabor nee Abugu is a Nigerian. She had her primary education at Ogbe Primary, Effurun, Delta State. She also had his secondary education at Our Lady’s High School Effurun, Delta State, both in Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State. Dr. (Mrs.) Onyenye Peace Temabor studied at the Delta State University, Abraka, Delta State, where she obtained her Bachelor of Art (B.A) in Music. She also obtained a Master of Arts (M.A.) Degree from the University of Ibadan (UI) and a Doctor of Philosophy Degree (Ph.D.), from University of Ibadan (UI) specializing in Africa Musicology, Music Media and Music Education. Dr. (Mrs.) Onyenye Peace Temabor joined the services of the College of Education. Agbor in 2009 as Lecturer III and rose to the rank of a Principal Lecturer. She is currently a Lecturer I in the Department of Music, University of Delta, Agbor, Delta State. She had held several administrative offices and member of committees in the institution, member of Federal Republic of Nigeria Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN). Member, Musicological Society of Nigeria (MSN). She has published various articles in reputable national and international journals as well as chapters in books. Her extra-curricular activities include travelling, researching and consulting. She is happily married.
